How to let a presenter know that their time is up? Here are some suggestions (semi-serious) that we put forth to foster some discussion. These were presented during the open mic session at ICAD 2007.

I actually would like to contribute something as well, just there was no time to do it during the conference.. Where is the place to submit proposals? -daniel
It Could Work!
This is a great idea! The "semi-serious" examples are hilarious. However, If we had something much more subtle it could work perfectly and function as a timer as well. You caould create a huge .wav file with 15 min. of silence at the begining and insert the auditory warnings at the appropriate times up to the end of the talk.
